Workers' Insurance
FOLA Insurance
FOLA Insurance, whose full name is Youth Labor Training Insurance, is an insurance designed to cover the risks of accidents and illnesses that may affect trainees while carrying out their work activities.
This insurance is a legal requirement established by Law No. 28518, known as the Law on Labor Training Modalities.
FOLA insurance provides a number of key benefits that are important to know:
1. Accidental emergency coverage: In the event of an accident during practice, the insurance covers the necessary medical care, including both outpatient consultations and hospitalizations.
2. Outpatient care: Covers medical consultations, clinical examinations, dressings and other procedures that do not require hospitalization.
3. Hospital care: When the practitioner's accident or illness requires hospitalization, the insurance covers all expenses arising from this confinement.
4. Oncology coverage: In the event of a cancer diagnosis, the insurance covers both consultations and necessary treatments, including hospitalizations if required.
5. Ophthalmological coverage: Includes necessary care and treatments related to vision problems.
6. Funeral expenses: In situations where the practitioner dies due to an accident or illness covered by the policy, the insurance covers the burial costs.

EPS Health Insurance
Health Care Providers, better known as EPS, are private companies other than EsSalud that provide PEAS Coverage and additional coverage to EsSalud's PEAS, which is a complementary layer with certain coverage limits. Employer companies can contract an EPS to provide PEAS coverage and consider it additional coverage to PEAS.
PEAS is the universal insurance plan, considered with unlimited coverage in all EPS.
